 Baxter State Park is a world class wilderness park of 209,644 acres created by former Governor Percival Baxter.  Baxter State Park Headquarters, located in Millinocket, Maine, is seeking a talented Customer Representative Supervisor.

 As a Customer Representative Supervisor, you can expect to:

• Promote and provide excellence in visitor service and experience.
• Oversee customer service representatives and monitor effective and efficient core reservation operations based at the BSP Headquarters in Millinocket.
• Establish operational priorities, procedures, and quality assurance processes.
• Analyze personnel, operational, and organizational systems.
• Have the ability to troubleshoot issues and problems and recommend / develop timely and economical solutions.
• Greet visitors and provide information in order to inform users of available park facilities and park rules, regulations, and policies.
• Process reservations, collect and record fees, perform daily cash receipt reconciliation.
• Collect, analyze and present data and statistics.

You Must Have:

• Training, education, or experience in office and administrative support work that demonstrates competency in applying a solid knowledge of modern office practices to perform complex, varied office support tasks.
• The ability to use independent decision-making on the appropriate processes to follow, information to process, and actions to take in accordance with standard procedures.
• The qualifications of: Office Assistant I, Office Assistant II, and Office Associate I.

You May Also Have:

• Previous supervisory experience including supporting programs and program staff and proficiency in performance evaluations
• Knowledge of teamwork principles and strategies
• Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace
• Excellent communication skills
• Personnel scheduling experience
• Prior experience with reservation software, information and systems management
• Knowledge of human resource laws, collective bargaining agreements and security and privacy policy
• Knowledge of Katahdin region recreation opportunities that will enrich visitor experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexibility to work weekend hours when necessary
