Job Description:
This position’s focus is the efficient execution and integration of MaineDOT’s operations. Reporting to the COO will be the Bureau of Maintenance and Operations, the Bureau of Finance and Administration, the Human Resources Office, and the Results and Information Office. The COO will be the executive point person on maintenance and operations including the Maine State Ferry Service, Work Plan development, cash flow projections and tracking, review of state budget submittals, Information Technology planning and development, the dashboard and performance measurement. It will be supporting the Director of Finance and Administration in developing integrated and strategic fiscal management protocols across all funding sources. This position is part of a 4 - person executive team and reports directly to the Commissioner of Transportation.
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:
Licensed Maine Professional Engineer, 15 Years of experience in professional engineering in the transportation industry, and progressive, documented management experience.
