As the Human Resources Assistant, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to human resources staff in the Security and Employment Service Center.  Duties include  processing of workers compensation claims; drafting  Family Medical Leave correspondence to employees; maintenance of employee personnel files; assisting with recruiting efforts;  assisting with calculations and distribution of seniority reports; and  providing administrative support to the HR Director and the HR Managers. .

Minimum qualifications:

Education, training, and/or experience which provides a basic knowledge and understanding of human resource functions.

Preference will be given to those applicants:

Possessing previous payroll experience, and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with diverse groups of supervisors, employees, and the public.
